"Introduce" your focus here. Provide a couple of sentences that describes your focus. Your goal is to get the viewer interested in your focus and to examine your other web pages! Read the rest of the text in this cell, then delete the text. ALSO state Why is this important? What is especially interesting to me? What references were used to make this site?

BUTTONS TO THE LEFT:

Use Insert > Interactive Button to place the buttons for links to your other pages. Place single words or short phrases that will serve as "links" to specific information about your focus. You will create separate web pages to provide this information, and then link the words on the left to these web pages. The links on the left are just examples:  You can change, add, or delete the phrases as you see fit. You may want to use phrases about a specific body part, body function, disease, equipment, technology, mathematical concept, and so on.

ALL WEB PAGES YOU MAKE:

  • Make sure your text shows up in the background. DO NOT use dark colors in background.
  • Keep your pages attractive, uncluttered, and easy to read.
  • Do not place copyrighted images or copyrighted material in your web pages.
  • Do not include photographs or the first name of any HSTA students unless their parents have signed a release form (never include last names).
  • Each adult that you want to picture must sign a release form.
  • Check with your HSTA teachers to learn which HSTA students cannot be pictured and where to get and how to use the adult release forms.
