CVD is a disease caused by high cholesterol build up in an artery in the neck or heart region. Cholesterol accumulates constantly, slowly closing up the artery. Then a small chunk of cholesterol breaks away from the main mass of it and fully clogs the artery causing a stroke (if the artery is in the neck) or heart attack (if the artery is in the heart region). |
