What does not
eating healthy do for you? |

This is one pound of saturated fat. On Monday, July 10, we talked about how eating unhealthy affects the heart, arteries, and the lungs. We also made posters to show the relationship between organs and substances such as fat and cholesterol.

Our next activity
was the dissection of of a pig heart. A pig heart is very similar to
that of a human so we were able to see all the different parts of the
heart and what they do.

On our final day
of anatomy we were given the privilege of entering the cadaver room.
There we saw several bodies with different types of dissection. In this
room there is also a museum of fetuses showing different stages of development
and some deformities that can occur during pregnancy.
