A quality Science Education is something HSTA teachers strive for.

As the communities in West Virginia and this nation become more diverse, schools and educators need support in how to break down institutional barriers that prevent the underserved students from gaining access to learning opportunities. Through professional development of our HSTA teachers, multicultural education and inquiry teaching are highlighted so as to excite HSTA students to science and provide them access to the latest scientific ideas.

HSTA teachers and students are learning how to share their differences for the benefit of all and working to establish equity in science education.
