Take BP measurements before (pre) and after (post) riding the bike.

Thread cuff-end through metal loop and slide cuff onto left arm so that bottom edge of cuff is just above the elbow.

Fasten the velcro tight enough so you can slide two fingers under the cuff.

| 3. |
Sit comfortably with arm resting on a flat surface, elevated to heart level, palm up.

Press POWER button.
|
| 5. |
Wait for a zero on the display to indicate monitor is ready.
|
| 6. |
Watch display and squeeze bulb quickly until you hear 2 short beeps (cuff pressure will reach about 30mmHG above your expected systolic pressure).

Stop pumping the bulb and sit quietly during measurement.
|
| 8. |
Wait for long beep, indicating that measurement is complete.
|
| 9. |
Wait for systolic and diastolic pressures to appear in the display.
|
| 10 |
Press exhaust valve on the bulb to release remaining air from cuff.
|
| 11. | Record BP on survey. |
