- The Spider's
Apprentice: Spidap (as it's affectionately known) is not another search
engine. It doesn't crawl the Web looking for new URLs. It can't find stuff
for you. It helps you find it yourself. The folks behind Spidap figure out
search engines are most effective (even rating them, first in brief and, separately,
more in-depth). It also includes ongoing discussions of new search engines
and their techniques.
