Support: Parents
	Parents should be strongly encouraged and expected to actively participate in local HSTA clubs. Possibilities for involvement may include a "technology night" where students demonstrate their expertise with "PowerPoint, a "preview night" for the science symposium, or helping to chaperone and drive during field trips. Teachers should communicate with students' parents to learn more about each student's career interests. Teachers, students, and parents are always welcome at the local governing board meetings and at the joint governing board meetings.
