That one word describes the year for my students and me… The almost paralyzing nervousness of the previous year's [Symposium] had disappeared, and in its' place was a new found confidence. If I had to pinpoint one experience that impacted not only the HSTA club, but also my classroom, it would have to be the introduction of the Inspiration Software. What did our students learn this year? If you asked them, I think they would say they learned it is important to work together as a team. We are like the musketeers, all for one and one for all. I use technology in my classes for lots of types of activities now. All the training I have had through RuralNet and HSTA has given me the courage to use computers more in my classes. We have had several students coming to other members and to the HSTA teachers asking how they can join HSTA. It makes us proud that students come to us and we don't need to beg students to join our club. By taking the [graduate level] courses, I just had the extra incentive to complete projects and ideas that I had been contemplating beginning.
