Background Information.
Using a spectroscope you can see that a single color of light is really comprised of a combination of colors, called a spectrum. A spectroscope enables you to see and compare the spectra produced by different light sources.
Procedure.

At the end of the 'Finishing up' page, there are instructions on how to become familiar with using the spectroscope.
