Activity 2: Gathering UV-B data

Purpose:

Students will collect UV-B data on a daily basis and collaborate to create a shared database of UV daily highs. UV Index values will be recorded along with cloud cover information on a web database. This activity can be conducted concurrently with other activities.

Materials:

Sunsor UV-B meter, Internet (not required)

Time Frame:

5 minutes daily
