Club History |

The Scott High HSTA Club was formed in 1998 with 10 members. Our club leaders were Jacqueline Aleshire and Darlene McClure. We began meeting and started working on projects for the symposium immediately. We had about two months to complete our projects. We gave it our best shot and really enjoyed our time at the symposium and summer academy at WVU. |

The next year we increased our membership to 20 and worked the entire year on our projects. Everyone was busy over the school year collecting their community service hours. |

At the summer academy, we participated in Anatomy and Algrebra classes. We got to observe cadavers. Our groups did presentations on Lung Health. |

We start our third year with 12 juniors, 1 sophomore, and 8 freshmen. We are looking forward to a productive and fulfilling year. |
