It is becoming
increasingly important in our society to be
computer literate. Computers can be found in
every business today, from using them to keep a
record of employee hours to having them monitor
medication dosages. For this reason, HSTA
students are introduced to new software programs,
like Inspiration, that will help them in the
future. The Inspiration software
enables students to have fun creating concept maps
while learning about a particular subject
matter. Students who use Inspiration also
become more adept at using computers. HSTA is
currently seeking funds to include another program
in its software library. This
Dreamweaver program will assist students
with the production of personal electronic
portfolios.
