Through the NIH/SEPA HSTA funds, there are teleconferences scheduled and available to all HSTA students. These events will be broadcast from either the University of Arkansas or WVU-Morgantown. Various locations across the state can receive these teleconferences and are listed below. Interactivity (students rave about this aspect - its' like a visual Instant Messenger!) will be available at all sites.

This fall we are hosting a teleconference event on October 31, 2001.

Dr. Ron Hill, a surgeon at WVU-Morgantown, will present an informal lecture on lung cancer, and show slides of surgeries on lungs and esophagus. He is known to be quite theatrical, and with this being Halloween, expect a great show!

Sites that will view the teleconference in West Virginia:

Berkley- college of WV - 25
Charleston Medical Center - 25
WVU campus, NRCCE building- 150
